LEICESTER — A 35-year-old woman from Brandon was arrested Sunday, Nov. 5, after police say she intentionally caused bodily injury to a household member.
According to the Vermont State Police, troopers responded to multiple reports of an active fight on the side of US Route 7 near the intersection with Fern Lake Road in Leicester around 12:49 p.m.
Police identified the suspect as Megan Amoroso, 35, of Brandon.
She was placed under arrest and transported to the New Haven Barracks for processing.
The identity of the victim has not been released by the Vermont State Police due to the nature of the crime.
Following the processing, Amoroso was conditionally released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, the following day.
