MANCHESTER –– A noise complaint led to the arrest of a convicted felon found in possession of a deadly weapon early morning on October 31.
Around 3:40 a.m., Manchester Police responded to a reported noise complaint at 200 Precourt St. Upon arrival, the officers did not hear any noise but discovered a vehicle occupied by four males.
Visible from outside the vehicle were a firearm near the driver and cash inside the vehicle.
The driver was identified as 24-year-old Anastase Kabura of Manchester, who was found to have active bail conditions from the Manchester District Court.
This was due to his arrest on October 27 for disorderly conduct. Kabura, being a convicted felon, was arrested and charged with Felon in Possession of a Deadly Weapon and Breach of Bail.
Earlier this year, Kabura had been out on bail twice from the Hillsborough Superior Court.
The first was related to drug charges, and the second was for Habitual Offender charges on October 22.
Kabura is currently being held at the Valley Street Jail, where he awaits a hearing scheduled for today, November 1.
