READSBORO — A 62-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Readsboro yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle operating erratically and the driver was possibly intoxicated on Vermont Route 100 at around 2:50 p.m.
The driver was identified as Leon Bardwell, of Readsboro.
Police say Bardwell showed signs of impairment and was arrested for suspicious of DUI.
He was transported to the Shaftsbury barracks and processed for DUI.
He was issued a citation to appear in court on November 13.
