FAIRFAX — A 26-year-old man from St. Albans was cited for theft following an incident in Fairfax last month.
On September 22, authorities say they were notified of the fraudulent use of a credit card at Minors Country Store on Main Street.
The complainant told police that an unknown person had stolen their credit card and used it to withdraw an amount of cash from an ATM at the location.
Police say that Devin Bean had stolen a credit card belonging to Annette Koch, and used it to withdraw an amount of cash from an ATM without permission to do so.
Bean was located yesterday at around 2:45 p.m in the town of St. Albans and was issued a citation to appear in court on November 19 to answer the charges.
