GRAFTON — A 58-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested for first degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Grafton on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic assault at a home on Pleasant Street at around 2:30 a.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Jonathan Whipple, of Webster MA, had assaulted a household or family member and fled in his vehicle.
Whipple later surrendered himself to the Westminster State Police barracks and was arrested for first degree aggravated domestic assault.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court today.
