FAIRLEE — A 34-year-old man from Norwich was involved in a crash in Fairlee early this morning.
The single-vehicle rollover crash took place on I-91 north at around 1:30 a.m.
The driver was identified as Jeffrey P. Egner.
Egner was extracted with the help of fire and EMS personnel, and transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
According to the report, Egner had been traveling at a high rate of speed while traveling north on Route 5.
Police say Egner lost control of his Subaru Crosstrek and traveled across both lanes before crashing into the median.
Police say they are still investigating this crash as alcohol is believed to be a factor.
