WEST RUTLAND — A 24-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a crash in West Rutland today.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Pleasant Street, near Business 4, at around 5:05 a.m.
The vehicle was seen crashed into a rock, overturned, and came to rest on its passenger side.
The driver was identified as Justin Duprey, of West Rutland.
While speaking to Duprey, police say they detected signs of alcohol impairment.
He was screened roadside and arrested for DUI, then transported to the Rutland barracks and processed for DUI.
He was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by the West Rutland City Fire Department.
