BELLOWS FALLS –– A Londonderry woman was arrested late Friday night in Bellows Falls, following the discovery of an active arrest warrant.
Jessica L. Williams, 43, was apprehended on Rockingham Street by deputies from the Windham County Sheriff’s Office shortly before midnight.
The arrest occurred as deputies were clearing a prior arrest and processing at the Bellows Falls Police Department.
According to investigating deputies Det. Sgt. M. Checchi, Deputy A. Buffum, and Deputy T. Raymond, it was during this process that they learned of Williams’ active arrest warrant.
Williams was subsequently transported and lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
Further details surrounding the nature of the warrant and charges against Williams were not immediately available.
The Windham County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the matter.
