WESTMINSTER –– A Bellows Falls woman was arrested for driving under the influence on US Rt 5 in the Town of Westminster on October 20, according to Windham County Sheriff’s Office.
Grace Brissette, 23, was pulled over around 8:54 p.m. after deputies observed her vehicle driving erratically southbound on US Rt 5.
Upon investigation, deputies noticed signs of impairment and conducted a DUI investigation.
The investigation was led by Det. Sgt. M. Checchi, Deputy A. Buffum, and Deputy T. Raymond.
The deputies identified the operator as Brissette and determined she was impaired and unsafe to operate a motor vehicle.
Brissette was arrested on charges of DUI, exceeding the legal limit. She was subsequently processed at the Bellows Falls Police Department.
A criminal citation has been issued for Brissette, who is due to appear in court at a later date.
