POWNAL — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Pownal yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 346 at around 6:50 a.m.
According to the report, Thomas Williams, 34, of Schaghticoke, NY, was traveling south, and James Andrews, 60, of North Adams, MA, was traveling north prior to the crash.
Roadway evidence revealed that Williams failed to maintain his lane and crossed the center line, colliding with Andrews in the northbound lane.
Police say both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.
Both drivers were uninjured and required no further medical treatment.
The Pownal Fire Department, Pownal Rescue, and All Service Citgo assisted the Vermont State Police.
