SUNAPEE –– A two-car accident on Muzzey Hill prompted a response from the Sunapee Fire Department, Sunapee Police, and New London Hospital EMS on Thursday afternoon.
At 1:13 p.m., emergency responders received a call about the accident which resulted in injuries for four individuals.
All patients required transportation to the hospital via ambulance, according to officials.
The accident caused a temporary shutdown of Route 11 until towing companies arrived to remove the damaged vehicles.
By 2:26 p.m., Sunapee Fire and Police units had cleared the scene, and the road was reopened to all through traffic.
Photographs of the incident, showing the extent of the damage, were provided by bystanders who later submitted them to the Fire Department.
