BRATTLEBORO — A 44-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Brattleboro today.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle lose control on the Exit 3 off-ramp at around 3:10 p.m.
The vehicle turned around and drove onto Putney Road where troopers initiated a traffic stop.
Police say that Shawn Tao, of Brattleboro, had several indicators of impairment and had been operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Tao was taken into custody and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department for processing.
He was cited, released, and is scheduled to appear in court on November 7 to answer the charge of DUI.
