CHITTENDEN — A 49-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested for DUI following a crash in Chittenden yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Mountain Top Road at around 9:10 p.m.
The driver was identified as Javier Franceschi, of Hyde Park, MA.
Throughout the interaction with Franceschi, police say they observed indicators of impairment.
Franceschi was administered standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for DUI.
He was transported to the Rutland State Police barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in court for the charge.
