CONCORD –– A Loudon man is facing child sexual assault charges in Concord, following a tip-off from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

38-year-old Michael Nadeau was arrested in late September after the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children task force received an alert about possible homemade child sexual abuse images being uploaded to the internet, according to Deputy Chief John Thomas of the Concord Police Department.

The task force forwarded the information to the city’s computer crimes unit.

Thomas said Nadeau was developed as a suspect and search warrants were requested for his residence.

“Investigators obtained several search warrants and collected evidence,” he said. “Probable cause was established and an arrest warrant for Nadeau was issued.”

Nadeau was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault-victim under 13 and endangering the welfare of a child-solicit sex charges, both felonies. He was processed, refused bail, and was taken to the county jail.

Nadeau is due to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on Friday.

The Concord Police Department was assisted in their investigation by the NH ICAC Task Force, the NH State Police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, and the Loudon Police Department.

The Concord police continue to investigate Nadeau and have encouraged anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 603-225-8600.
