MANCHESTER –– A fully loaded tractor-trailer rolled over on I-293 South around mile marker 7 late Wednesday night, leading to lane closures and an ongoing investigation, according to state troopers.
The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on October 11, and was responded to by personnel from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B and Troop G Barracks, Manchester Fire and EMS, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Zibirov Nurmagamed, 63, of Anjou, Canada, was identified as the tractor-trailer operator. Nurmagamed was treated at the scene for minor injuries by EMS personnel, according to the state police.
The accident led to the closure of the right lane of I-293 South for the rest of the night while crews processed and cleared the scene.
The tractor was removed from the scene overnight, but a shoulder closure remained in place for the trailer, which was not removed until later in the day on October 12, 2023 due to increased morning commute traffic.
The cause of the rollover is still under investigation.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has additional information is asked to contact Trooper Alexander Grimes at (603) 223-4381.
