ST. JOHNSBURY — A 36-year-old woman was arrested following an incident in St. Johnsbury yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a possibly intoxicated woman operating a motor vehicle on Memorial Drive at around 3:10 p.m.
Police say they located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, who was identified as Karri Simpson, of St. Johnsbury.
Simpson was administered standardized field sobriety tests and at the conclusion was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
She was transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of the processing she was released with a citation to appear in court for the charges of DUI and drug possession.
