SPRINGFIELD — A 74-year-old man from White River Junction was arrested for his second DUI following a crash in Springfield on Sunday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on I-91 south at around 10:10 p.m.
According to the report, Bruce S. Bennett was operating a 2016 Ford Mustang when he went off the highway.
Following an investigation, police say that Bennett had been drinking and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Westminster State Police barracks for processing.
He was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on October 17 to answer the charge.
