BARTON — A 26-year-old woman was arrested for 1st degree aggravated domestic assault following an incident in Barton on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance on Park Street at around 3:50 p.m.
Police responded to the home and allege that Stephanie Shields, of Barton, had caused harm to a household member.
Shields was arrested and transported to the Vermont State Police Derby barracks for processing.
She was lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility on $1,000 bail.
