PITTSFORD — A 34-year-old man from Addison was arrested for DUI following a crash in Pittsford yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on US 7 just south of Chapel Hill Road at around 10:20 p.m.
The vehicle had struck a business sign, a parked vehicle, and a power pole.
Police say the vehicle appeared to have hydroplaned off the road.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Bryan Fernandes, police say they detected signs of alcohol impairment.
Fernandes was screened roadside and arrested for DUI.
He was transported to the State Police Rutland barracks and processed for DUI before being released on a citation to appear in court at a later date.
