SHAFTSBURY — A 31-year-old man from Pennsylvania was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Shaftsbury today.
The crash took place on US Route 7, near mile marker 18/0, at around 3:25 p.m.
According to the report, a vehicle veered off the road, resulting in a collision with a guardrail.
Following an investigation, police say that Sanjai L. Ramdeen was traveling at approximately 60 miles-per-hour, when the vehicle began to hydroplane due to road conditions at the time.
Police say he lost control, and collided head-on into a guardrail, resulting in heavy front-end damage and the vehicle being totaled from the collision.
He reportedly sustained minor injuries.
State Police were assisted by Southern Vermont Auto.
