NEWPORT — Four local students embarking on their college journeys have received scholarships from the Sacred Heart Alumni Association (SHAA), as the organization continues its commitment to supporting higher education in the community.
Among the recipients is Natalie Holmes, a graduate of NCUHS, who is currently pursuing studies in History and Pre-Law at the University of New Hampshire. A recent presentation featured Madeleine Roy, the Secretary of SHAA, alongside Holmes, Rosemary Hall, Vice President of SHAA, and Jane Forcier, the association’s President.
Three other NCUHS graduates recently received scholarships to support their collegiate pursuits, including Jordan Beloin is currently attending SUNY with a major in Culinary Arts.
Meanwhile, Dustin Beloin is in his sophomore year at VT Technical College studying Auto & Diesel Mechanics, and Bryce Gunn is a junior at Norwich University, focusing on Civil Engineering.
The SHAA expressed its pride and satisfaction in aiding these ambitious students in their educational and career aspirations.
