ORWELL — A 41-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Orwell today.
The crash took place on Mount Independence Road at around 2:00 p.m.
According to the report, Anthony Bezanson, of Orwell, was headed west on Mount Independence Road near Vermont Route 73 prior to the crash.
A large circular haybale that had fallen off a farm truck was struck, causing severe frontal damage to the vehicle.
The driver was not injured, and the passenger, Beth Lowell, 41, of Orwell, was transported to Porter Medical Facility with injuries.
