JERICHO — A 47-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Jericho today.
Authorities say they received an anonymous tip that Luke Brown, of Jericho, was at his home on South Main Street and had an active warrant for his arrest.
Police say Brown had a felony arrest warrant for DUI #4, driving while license suspended, and violation of conditions of release.
Brown was located at his home and attempted to flee from troopers through his backyard.
Unable to jump the fence behind his residence, Brown surrendered and was taken into custody.
He was then transported to the Northwest State Correction Facility where he was lodged on $1,000 bail.
