IRASBURG –– A 70-year-old Irasburg resident was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash on VT RT 14 near the landmark of Irasburg Commons.
Walter Earle, the driver of a 2017 Cadillac ATS, reportedly suffered a medical event around 2:53 p.m.
This caused his vehicle to veer off the dry blacktop and collide with a stone culvert.
State Police said Earle, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, sustained minor injuries.
The front end of his vehicle was notably damaged.
Earle was treated at the scene by Orleans Ambulance.
He was then transported to North Country Hospital for further evaluation.
