WATERBURY — A 32-year-old woman was cited following an incident in Waterbury today.
Police say they were in the parking lot of the Mobil on Waterbury-Stowe Road at around 10:05 p.m.
A store employee told troopers of a suspicious woman inside the store.
Police say they observed the woman, later identified as Nathalie Trottier, leaving the store and concealing items on her person.
Troopers made contact with Nathalie and located items on her person totaling $41.32.
Trottier was issued a citation to appear in court on November 23 to answer to the charge of retail theft.
