POWNAL — A 57-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct following an incident in Pownal on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of an ongoing harassment complaint on Pine Ridge Drive at around 6:00 p.m.
When speaking with the victim on the scene, William Danforth, of Pownal, approached and began yelling and acting in a tumultuous and threatening behavior.
Danforth was taken into custody and transported to the Shaftsbury barracks.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in court on November 6 to answer the charge.
