BRISTOL –– A juvenile’s stolen bicycle was recovered and a man was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property, according to Bristol police on Sept. 27, 2023.
The juvenile reported the theft earlier in the day. Officer Nordberg later spotted a man with a bicycle matching the provided description while on patrol. Nordberg approached the man, who was wearing a wig and attempted to give a false name and driver’s license.
Upon verification, Nordberg confirmed the bike was indeed the stolen one. The man was arrested and a subsequent search revealed he was in possession of fentanyl.
The bicycle was documented and returned to the juvenile owner.
As Nordberg continues his investigation, additional charges against the man are expected.
The Bristol NH Police Department has not released further information at this time.
