PUTNEY –– A 29-year-old man from Stamford, CT was arrested for excessive speed and negligent operation of a motor vehicle on I-91 on Sept. 27, according to Windham County Sheriff’s Office.
Apoorv Krishna was driving at 102 mph in a 65 mph speed zone when he was stopped by Sgt. Norton of the Windham County Sheriff’s Office around 4:20 p.m. at mile marker 22.8 on I-91 North.
Krishna was issued a traffic ticket for the speeding violation and was released from the scene with a citation.
He is expected to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date to face the charges.
