MANCHESTER –– Local police are actively searching for 32-year-old Daniel Richland, wanted on multiple serious charges including 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, 2nd Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault, Maiming, and DUI#3, and are asking for public assistance in the ongoing investigation.
Richland, a Manchester resident, has been the subject of an investigation by the Manchester Police Department since incidents occurred on September 15.
The charges derive from his alleged violent acts, including domestic assault, which resulted in severe injuries to the victim. In addition, he faces charges for his third offense of Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
Richland is described as a white male, standing approximately 5’06, weighing 135 lbs, with brown eyes, dark hair and facial hair.
His last known location was in Orwell, where authorities believe he may still be, but there is a possibility he could have fled elsewhere within the state.
The Manchester Police Department, in collaboration with the Addison County Sheriff’s Department, successfully located and returned a stolen dump truck to its registered owner on September 18.
Despite the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement agencies, Richland remains at large.
The safety of the community is of paramount importance, and the authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to Richland’s apprehension.
