SHAFTSBURY — A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Shaftsbury today.
Police say they were investigating a citizen dispute in the area of Howard Park at around 7:35 p.m.
A trooper stopped to speak with a vehicle who was exiting the park access road.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Jackson Sherman, of Shaftsbury, police say they observed multiple indicators of impairment.
Sherman was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Shaftsbury barracks for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in court on October 9 to answer the charge.
