BRIDPORT — A 67-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Bridport today.
Authorities say they were notified of a family fight at a home on Hemenway Road at around 11:15 a.m.
Police allege that Claude Cousineau, of Bridport, assaulted a household member.
Cousineau was placed under arrest and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, he was conditionally released with a citation to appear in court.
