WOODFORD — A 50-year-old man from Louisiana was arrested for DUI following a crash in Woodford yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 9 and City Stream Road at around 6:15 p.m.
The driver was identified as Emmanuel Fragoso, of Baton Rouge, LA.
Police say Fragoso showed multiple indicators of impairment.
Fragoso was arrested for suspicion of DUI and processed at Southern Vermont Medical Center where he was also treated for apparent minor injuries.
The vehicle collided with and broke a telephone pole and Green Mountain Power was contacted for repair.
Fragoso was released on a citation to appear in court on November 13 to answer the charge.
