POWNAL — A 57-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Pownal yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a threatening complaint at the Ladd Brook Inn at around 2:40 p.m.
Police allege that Michael Leger, of Pownal, had caused a public inconvenience by using abusive and obscene language toward the victims.
In addition, it was found that Leger had an active in-state arrest warrant for a failure to appear in court.
The offense from the arrest warrant was for aggravated disorderly conduct.
Police say the warrant was a cite and release warrant after 3:00 p.m.
He was released on two separate citations to answer the arrest warrant offense and to answer the offense in this incident.
He is scheduled to appear in court on October 30 to answer the charges
