TUFTONBORO –– A 71-year-old woman, reported missing by her family, is the subject of an urgent search by the Tuftonboro Police Department, following an activation of the Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert System on Saturday.
Jennie Roache, who suffers from Alzheimer’s and is easily confused, was reported missing around 7 p.m. on September 16, 2023.
She was last seen leaving a residence on Hideaway Shores in Tuftonboro at approximately 4:45 p.m., walking on Tuftonboro Neck Road on foot.
Roache is described as 5-foot-6, 136 pounds, with blonde/grey hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing dark pants, a bright green raincoat, and black sneakers.
According to her family, Roache has previously walked away due to her condition, prompting an urgent plea from law enforcement for public assistance in locating her.
