WESTMINSTER –– A 32-year-old Brattleboro woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear after a vehicle stop on US Rt. 5 on September 13.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., Det. Sgt. M. Checchi and Deputy T. Raymond of the Windham County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle commit a moving violation near the I91 Access Rd.
The vehicle, operated by Samantha Chiu, was pulled over in a nearby business parking lot.
Upon investigation, Chiu was found to have an active warrant for failure to appear.
She was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility due to lack of $100 bail.
Chiu is scheduled to appear in court on September 14 at 12:30 p.m.
