SHOREHAM — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Shoreham earlier this month.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 74, near the intersection with Doolittle Road, at around 5:00 p.m. on September 3.
According to the report, Jacob Corkins, 21, of Middlebury, was traveling east in excess of the posted speed limit and attempted to pass a line of cars in an unsafe manner.
Police say he then struck the rear-driver’s side of Jonathan Shell, 55, of Wooster, OH.
Shell then crossed the centerline, left the road off the westbound lane, and hit a telephone pole.
Police say no injuries resulted as all occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Troopers were assisted on the scene by the Addison County Sheriff’s Department and Shoreham Fire Department.
