THETFORD — Police are looking for the driver who fled the scene of a crash in Thetford today.
The single-vehicle crash took place near the intersection of Latham Road and Turnpike Road at around 8:50 p.m.
Police say the vehicle hit a utility pole, causing significant damage to the pole and the vehicle.
Troopers located the vehicle in a nearby residential driveway, unoccupied.
Following an investigation, police say that the driver of the vehicle was identified as Colby Johnson, 26, of Panton.
Johnson fled on foot from the scene.
Police say they have been unable to locate Johnson.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
