MILTON — A 30-year-old man from Fairfax was arrested following a crash in Milton on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 89 south at around 7:05 a.m.
Police identified the driver as Ryan Chamberlain.
While speaking with Chamberlain, police say they observed indicators of impairment from a substance other than alcohol.
Chamberlain was arrested for the suspicion of DUI – drugs and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
Ultimately, Chamberlain refused to provide a sample of his blood despite a signed court order.
He was issued a citation to appear in court on September 28 to answer for the charges of DUI – drugs and impeding public officers.
