Nashua man arrested for motorcycle theft, drug possession

NASHUA –– A local man was arrested for motorcycle theft and drug possession on September 5, according to the Nashua Police Department.

Shawn Brousseau, 49, of Nashua, is facing charges of felony-level Receiving Stolen Property and felony-level Possession of Controlled Drug, Subsequent Offense.

Officers responded to a call from a motorcycle owner who had tracked his stolen vehicle to the area of Grand Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found the motorcycle and made contact with Brousseau a short distance away.

Video surveillance footage from a nearby residence showed Brousseau operating the stolen motorcycle.

Following further investigation, detectives interviewed Brousseau who admitted to having quantities of Methamphetamine and Fentanyl in his pants pocket.

The drugs were seized and Brousseau was arrested.

Brousseau was later released on Personal Recognizance bail and is set to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District on October 5, 2023.
