ST. JOHNSBURY –– A Danville woman was taken into custody early Sunday under suspicion of driving under the influence, marking her third such offense.
Rebecca S. Cushman, 37, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Western Avenue at 12:56 a.m. and subsequently arrested on suspicion of operating under the influence of alcohol, according to Corporal Steven Hartwell of the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
This is Cushman’s third offense for driving under the influence.
No further details were provided regarding the nature of the traffic violation that initially led to Cushman being stopped.
Cushman has a court date set for Sept. 18 at 8:30 a.m. at the Caledonia Court.
