TILTON –– A 29-year-old woman was arrested on charges of reckless conduct after driving the wrong way on Interstate 93 on September 3, 2023.
State Police dispatch began receiving calls around 4:20 a.m. of a vehicle traveling south in the northbound lanes.
Callers from the town of Ashland and other locations provided location updates as the vehicle, a small sedan, continued traveling south in the left lane.
An officer from the Tilton Police Department was able to locate and stop the vehicle near Exit 20, before State Troopers arrived on scene and conducted a roadside investigation.
The driver, identified as Elisha D. Moore of Belmont, was arrested and charged with Reckless Conduct, a felony.
Moore was transported to the Tilton Police Department, where she was released on her own personal recognizance. She is set to appear in the Belknap County Superior Court at a later date.
