SUNAPEE –– A single-car accident on Route 103B near Rolling Rock Road prompted emergency response and partial road closure last night, according to Sunapee Fire and Police departments and New London Hospital EMS.
The accident occurred at 6:29 p.m. when a vehicle veered off the road into a ditch. All occupants of the vehicle were found outside the car, denying any injuries when first responders arrived on the scene.
Route 103B was reduced to one lane for approximately two hours while the vehicle was removed and towed by Cory Patten’s Auto & Truck Works.
The road was fully reopened after the vehicle was safely removed.
Further details on the cause of the accident are yet to be released as the Sunapee Police continue their investigation.
