BROOKFIELD — A 44-year-old man from Chelsea was arrested for DUI following a crash in Brookfield today.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 14 at around 5:55 a.m.
According to the report, it was found that Jeremy Beaucage lost control of his rental vehicle and veered off the road.
Police say that alcohol consumption was a factor in the crash.
Beaucage showed signs of alcohol impairment and after failed field sobriety exercises, he was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.
He was transported to VSP Royalton barracks for processing and was later released with a citation.
