MONKTON — A 35-year-old woman from Starksboro was arrested following an incident in Monkton yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a traffic infraction on Silver Street at around 7:30 p.m.
Police made contact with the driver, identified as Katelyn Russell.
Following an investigation, police say that Russell had a cite and release warrant for her arrest.
Police say Russell was also found to be operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
Russell was issued a citation to appear in court on August 31 for the arrest warrant.
She was issued an additional citation to appear in court on November 27 to answer the charge of operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
