RUTLAND — A 62-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at the Cortina Inn Hotel at around 5:00 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Michael Desautels, of Rutland, had physically assaulted a family/household member during the incident.
Desautels was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks.
He was issued conditions of release.
He is due in court today.
