MOULTONBOROUGH –– A motor vehicle collision on Whittier Highway earlier today resulted in three people being transported to the hospital for minor injuries and a temporary closure of the highway.
Moultonborough Fire Rescue, with assistance from Center Harbor companies, responded to the scene of the accident.
While the nature of the injuries were minor, the three individuals involved were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The accident led to a brief shutdown of Whittier Highway while emergency crews worked to clear and secure the area.
