DURHAM –– The suspicious death of a man at a Durham home is being investigated by state and local authorities.
The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Durham police, and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are collaborating in the investigation, according to Michael Garrity, the director of communications for the AG’s office.
The man was found dead at 98 Bennett Road, and the circumstances around his death are currently described as suspicious.
At this point, the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
Durham police cruisers were seen parked on Bennett Road, and the property was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
A major crime van was also parked in the driveway along with two personal vehicles.
While initial information from multiple sources suggests the man may have succumbed to fatal stab wounds, officials have not confirmed this.
Investigators currently believe all parties involved have been identified and assert there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
