PUTNEY — A 43-year-old woman from Burlington was arrested following an incident in Putney on Tuesday.
Police say they located a woman walking on I-91 north at around 10:50 a.m.
The vehicle had run out of gas and had been reported stolen several days earlier from Burlington.
The driver, identified as Jessica Ploof, was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster barracks for processing.
Ploof was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
