ROCKINGHAM — A 27-year-old woman from Connecticut was arrested for DUI following an incident in Rockingham yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle that hit a mailbox on Rockingham Road at around 8:50 p.m.
Police say that Kristin Cates, of Colchester, Connecticut, was operating her 2012 Cadillac CTS when she hit a mailbox.
Following an investigation, police say that Cates had been drinking and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Cates was processed at the Westminster barracks before being released with a criminal citation to appear in court on September 19 to answer the charge.
