POWNAL — A 33-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Pownal on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified of a call for service at a home on Montgomery Road at around 10:25 p.m.
While investigating this incident, it was found that an involved party had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear on a previous domestic assault case.
The man was identified as Paul St. Pierre, of Pownal.
St. Pierre was arrested and transported to the Shaftsbury State Police barracks for processing.
He was later transported to Marble Valley Correctional Facility.
